I am absolutely blown away to share that The Curated Kitchen was recently named Best Newcomer at the prestigious TWIA Awards – first in the South East regional awards, and then in January at the Nationals! I’m so honoured, and can’t think of a better way to start this new year and decade than as an award-winning wedding catering business. It’s also the perfect way to cap off a fantastic first year doing what I love – creating gorgeous grazing tables for my wonderful clients!
It took a huge leap of faith to launch The Curated Kitchen, as well as a lot of blood, sweat, and tears. Grazing tables are still a relatively new concept to the UK wedding market, and are still gaining recognition as a form of alternative wedding catering. While it’s exciting to be one of the pioneers, it can also be a little daunting, so it really is wonderful to receive such amazing recognition. What makes it extra sweet is that The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA) model is based on real customer feedback. Knowing that my clients are so happy with their event catering is the biggest prize of all.
Reading through the comments from my lovely couples meant the world to me! Here’s what some of them had to say about my award-winning wedding catering:
“The Curated Kitchen made our wedding so special. Dani is so friendly and knew exactly the look and feel that we were going for, and executed it perfectly. The food was incredible, and she definitely went out of her way to include dietary requirements and kids. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.”
“Dani went over and above to make sure everything went smoothly. She pulled everything together and I didn’t have to worry about a thing on the big day. Her food was the highlight of the reception and talked about for weeks afterwards. We and all of our guests absolutely loved Dani’s delicious food and were so impressed with such outstanding presentation and attention to detail. I really couldn’t recommend The Curated Kitchen enough.”
“Our guests were blown away with the array and quality of the food and the layout and appearance was unimaginable. Everything down to the cutlery and crockery provided was just perfect and nothing was ever too much trouble.”
And here are a couple from the judges:
“What a brilliant first year – well done! It’s so refreshing to see a catering company do things differently and with such style and flair.”
“Great to see a caterer offering something different and making a difference by using sustainable, organic and locally sourced products.”
A huge, HUGE thank you to all of my clients, especially those who took the time to vote for me, and to the judges for honouring me with this award. I’m so excited for everything to come in 2020!
